Papermaking equipment is now cheap in China, with the most expensive of the gadgets listed on Amazon at £8,100, according to a new survey.
The survey, published by the Guardian, found that Chinese manufacturers are producing the most high-end papermaking equipment in the world, with prices ranging from £1,800 to £14,000.
The most expensive item in the survey was a piece of papermaking netting which was bought by an Australian man for $4,800.
It measures 6cm by 5cm and costs $8,000, but can be used to make almost any kind of paper.
The cheapest piece of cloth was a sheet of cotton paper, which costs £500.
